In many parts of India and beyond, there is growing interest in theological education among those who are actively serving in ministry but are unable to relocate for full-time, residential programs. This program meets that need by offering a fully online, accessible, and academically credible graduate degree. It is intentionally designed for those who wish to grow in biblical knowledge, theological understanding, historical awareness, and ministry readiness, while remaining rooted in their own communities of service.
Admission Requirements
The Master of Arts in Christian Studies (MACS) is designed for individuals who are called to deepen their understanding of the Christian faith and are desiring to grow academically, spiritually, and ministerially all while continuing to serve in their present contexts.
Ideal candidates for this program typically:

Hold a recognized Bachelor’s degree in any field. Prior theological education is not required but is beneficial. In case of not having a bachelor's degree, should be minimum 30 years old with 5 years of ministry experienced that could be documented.

Are active in local church ministry, missions, teaching, or other forms of Christian service.

Sense a call to serve more effectively through biblical and theological grounding.

Are committed to growing in personal spiritual formation and leadership capacity.

Demonstrate a readiness for graduate-level academic work, including reading, writing, and theological reflection.

Value the flexibility and discipline required to thrive in a fully online learning environment.

Have basic English proficiency and comfort with digital learning tools such as video lectures, Zoom, online forums, and writing platforms.

Along with your application, or after its submission, the following documents must be emailed to the admissions office for processing. If you are unable to submit all required documents along with your application, you may request permission from the admissions office for an extension.

1. Educational Certificates

3. Two Reference Forms

Spiritual & Ministerial Reference Form: From your mentor or pastor, confirming your Christian faith and suitability for theological studies. This form link should be shared with the appropriate person for submission.

Academic/Professional Reference Form: From a professor, employer, or another person familiar with your faith commitment and passion for ministry. This form link should be shared with the appropriate person for submission.
4. Formal Digital Profile Image

Your mentor must submit a digital consent form confirming their willingness to support you in your theological journey. This form should be shared with your mentor for submission.
7. Ministry Experience Documentation (If Applicable)

Provide proof of at least five years of ministry experience, including:

All students who are unable to pay a tuition fee exceeding ₹90,000 are required to submit a scholarship application.

A non-refundable application fee of ₹350 must be submitted along with your application.
