SIBBC&S Online Programs employ the credit system to ensure a standardized approach to learning and academic progress.

  • Our online programs are structured according to a credit system, where each program comprises a defined number of credits.

  • A single credit hour equates to 40 hours of learning. Consequently, a course worth 3 credit hours entails 120 hours of learning.

  • Each 3 credit hour course is designed to span 8 weeks, providing a structured timeline for completion and ensuring adequate time is allocated for comprehensive learning and understanding of the course material.

  • Students are expected to dedicate between 12 to 15 hours per week to engage with and complete the coursework.

  • Students are permitted to enroll in a maximum of two courses simultaneously. This policy is in place to encourage focused learning and prevent overextension.

  • Requests to exceed the two-course limit must be submitted to the academic office for consideration. Approval for additional courses will be contingent upon a review of the student’s academic performance and capacity to manage an increased workload.

  • Students are eligible for graduation only after successfully completing all the required credits specified for their respective programs.
