SIBBC&S Online Programs employ the credit system to ensure a standardized approach to learning and academic progress.
Our online programs are structured according to a credit system, where each program comprises a defined number of credits.
A single credit hour equates to 40 hours of learning. Consequently, a course worth 3 credit hours entails 120 hours of learning.
Each 3 credit hour course is designed to span 8 weeks, providing a structured timeline for completion and ensuring adequate time is allocated for comprehensive learning and understanding of the course material.
Students are expected to dedicate between 12 to 15 hours per week to engage with and complete the coursework.
Students are permitted to enroll in a maximum of two courses simultaneously. This policy is in place to encourage focused learning and prevent overextension.
Requests to exceed the two-course limit must be submitted to the academic office for consideration. Approval for additional courses will be contingent upon a review of the student’s academic performance and capacity to manage an increased workload.
Students are eligible for graduation only after successfully completing all the required credits specified for their respective programs.
