SIBBC&S Online Programs are committed to providing a fair and supportive environment for addressing and resolving grievances of students. This policy outlines the procedures for students to seek resolution of grievances related to academic or administrative actions that affect their status or relationships with the institution.

  • A grievance is a formal complaint raised by a student regarding specific actions or lack of actions by the Institution or its staff, facilitators, or administrators that adversely affect the student’s academic standing or seminary experience.

  • Students at first are encouraged to resolve grievances informally by discussing the issue directly with the individual(s) involved or with a facilitator or concerned authority.

  • If the grievance cannot be resolved informally, the student may email a formal grievance to the academic office at eduonline@sibbc.org . The grievance must include a detailed description of the complaint, the individuals involved, any attempts at informal resolution, and the desired outcome.

  • The outcome of the grievance will be communicated to the student through email, including any actions to be taken by the Seminary or parties involved.
