SIBBC&S Online Programs are committed to upholding the standards of academic integrity and fairness in the administration of examinations. This policy outlines the guidelines and expectations for students regarding quizzes, mid-course exams, final exams, and other forms of assessments.

  • Examinations, including quizzes, mid-course exams, and final exams, are designed to assess students' understanding and mastery of course content.

  • The format, timing, and content of each examination will be clearly communicated to students via the course on Canvas LMS.

  • Students are expected to maintain academic integrity during all examinations. This includes prohibitions on unauthorized collaboration, use of unauthorized materials, and any form of cheating.

  • Students must ensure they have a reliable computer and internet connection for examinations.

  • Technical issues during an exam should be reported immediately to the facilitator or technical support. Documentation of the issue (e.g., screenshot) is recommended.

  • Facilitators will grade exams and provide feedback to students. Students will have access to their grades and feedback through Canvas.

  • Students who have concerns about their exam performance or believe there has been an error in grading may request a review. This request must be made within one or two weeks of receiving the grade.

  • Failing to comply with the provided guidelines may result in academic penalties, including but not limited to, the nullification of exam results, academic probation, or further disciplinary actions.
